Those of you using MSN Search where introduced to Live Search. A few days ago I was introduced to Bing. Microsoft’s new search that is quicker and more accurate. With all the search engines in the world why another…right? Because, one great search engine leads to another, and their competition!
According to Microsoft, the new brand known as Bing will be a “decision” engine. What exactly does that mean? Well Microsoft states that Bing will “help you make smarter, faster decisions”. If you looking for several options when searching Bing will offer just that. After test driving a search on Liam Neeson with Bing I was able to decide exactly where I wanted to go based on the results offered by Bing. The most amazing thing was previewing documentation from the result without clicking on the result link by moving the cursor to the left of the result! Now, this is a feature Google’s Chrome doesn’t possess; at this time at least!
With so many options to decide from once a search is conducted, you should have no problem finding what you need on one page. This is exactly what Microsoft intended! Purpose served? Visit http://www.bing.com and decide.
it seems like Microsoft is having a search engine identity crisis
Microsoft Bing looks cool. The most amazing thing was previewing documentation from the result without clicking on the result link by moving the cursor to the left of the result.
@smokey
I think People use msn for messenger download and hotmail and dont consider it as a proper search engine.
But Microsoft Bing is a only works as search engine which attract user i think.
Bing is confusing. At first it seemed like it was similar to Live Search. I want the old stuff to stay and for Microsoft to stop trying to compete with other giants like Google.
