With the pictures of BlackBerry Magnum doing the rounds in past few days,we have also got a video to present to you ,confirming reports that it is the first Balckberry device that has a touchscreen as well as a hardware QWERTY keyboard packed into it.
Not many specs was known when the news of a BlackBerry device which was given the codename Magnum was released in May 2009.The smartphone was believed to be run on a CPU of 624 MHz,like the one used in another BlackBerry model, Bold 9700.It was also said to possess GPS receiver,HSDPA 3G and Wi-Fi
The alleged Magnum also known as Dakota is believed to have an HVGA resolution but the icing on the cake is that it has a touchscreen that is clickable. It makes use of Storm2‘s piezo-electric technology, that reduces the demand on the fingers
Hence the promising Magnum ,equipped with a touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard, has arrived to fill the bridge between the Storm/Storm 2 and the Bold. Now why not they do something about the operating system of the BlackBery and its ancient user interface.
Nobody knows when the Magnum is expected to officially come out or about its cost
