Apple iPhone development team introduces a new edition of the unlocking software Redsnow for the users of iPhone 2G. Redsnow unlocking software easy unlock and Jailbreak iPhone 2G running on OS 3.0.

With the availability of the latest release of Redsnow unlocking software users can easily Jailbreak and unlock iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch and iPod Touch 2G. With out using Pwnage unlocking Tool to unlock iPhone.
iPhone dev team provided instructions to users to use Redsnow unlocking software to Jailbreak and unlock iPhone 2G running on firmware 3.0. Instructions for using Redsnow are given below:
- Create Redsnow folder on desktop and Download Redsnow tool files to this folder.
- Through USB port connect iPhone with the System
- Extract Redsnow unlocking software and run the utility.
- Grab .ipsw firmware 3.0 file from the folder. Click on Next to continue
- Bootloader window will appear, perform the instructions given on the screen.
- Switch off the iPhone device
- Enter DFU mode and restore to unlock.
- Unlocking procedure will start automatically by Redsnow unlocking software tool.
- Just wait for few minutes to get an unlocked device.
For Jailbreak an iPod touch, there is no need of bootloader files only corresponding firmware is required
