Potentially one of the most requested features on Gmail, rich text formatting has not been a possibility with Google’s email solution — until now. The California-based search company flipped the switch Thursday and enabled rich text formatting for email signatures.
Users looking to take advantage of the new feature must not do anything different than they’ve done before to access signature properties. Once logged in, simply head over to the Settings page, and modify your signature accordingly. Even better, Gmail allows the option to set a rich text formatted signature for multiple account names, so you won’t be left modifying your signature depending on what account you’re sending from … ever.
Google Apps users; the feature is also available in your settings page. Format away!
