The first time in Pakistan an “International Phone comapany” has made a deal with a local telecommunication company. Nokia and Ufone have signed a contract according to which Ufone will have the exclusive rights to sell N8 in Pakistan for the first month of sales which will also include the pre-sales booking.
The Nokia N8, Nokia’s latest smartphone, has introduced a 12 megapixel camera, enhanced video recording quality , film editing software and Dolby surround sound. As per the joint venture,Nokia N8 smartphones will be made available at a select number of Ufone service centres across Pakistan.
Nauman Durrani, Operator Sales Manager, Nokia Pakistan & Afghanistan, during a press briefing expressed his pleasure over the partnership of Nokia with Ufone and encouraged and appreciated Pakistan’s Telecommunication Industry. He further added that this Partnership will benefit both Nokia and Ufone.
The Head of Devices, Affinity & Loyalty, Khurram Mahboob expressed his joy over the collaboration between Nokia and Ufone and said, “The recent past has seen Ufone offer its valued customers a number of exciting handset deals and this is sure to be one to look out for.”
