There seems to be a never ending chain of complaints against Facebook’s privacy policies. The recent one is against the photos deleted by the users of this social network. Users have complained that the photos and albums they have deleted can be accessed by anyone online. Moreover, the management of Facebook has admitted that the keep the photos save for ‘sometime’.
The problem was brought to attention of the site’s management when a user complained that the photos he has deleted some two and a half years ago are still available on the site and is accessible by everyone online. A complaint of nature was made by other users as well.
Assuring one of its important users ArsTechnica, Facebook spokesperson Simon Axten has said that the company was actively working with its CDN to find a solution to this issue. Axten said that Facebook has been able to fix the same problem with the videos, and assures that the problem with profile and album photos will be fixed real soon
