Samsung’s finally releasing the official details of its 10.1-inch, Android Honeycomb tablet to the world. Surprisingly its called the Galaxy Tab 10.1 — because of it’s extraordinary size — and like the rest of the upcoming Android 3.0 tablets it’s powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, will be available with 16GB or 32GB of storage, and has a front-facing 2 megapixel camera as well as a 8 megapixel imager around back. And below you will find the rest of the awesome specs it comes with.
The launch dates are still unknown. Samsung says the 10.1 will be launching in March in both Asia and Europe — Vodafone will be the first carrier to nab the Tab — but it had absolutely no timing details for the US market. As for the price, thats something we don’t know either. But we have to say that a 10.1 inch tablet seems much better to handle compared to a smaller one. It has got great hardware and amazing software impressions, it is definitely good to go.
