Rumors about iPad 2 launch are in the air from last few months, but it’s now confirmed next iPad is not coming within 2010 may be early next year.According to a recent report of DigiTimes Apple has notified Foxconn Electronics that Apple is planning to ship next iPad within 100days with initial estimated shipments of 400,000-600,000 units. This mean we may see next iPad in February.
The sources pointed out that the iPad 2 will ship
as soon as the end of February in 2011. Apple originally planned to start mass production in January, but because the device's firmware is currently still in testing, Apple has been postponing the schedule. Since Foxconn's new plants in Chengdu are still in pilot production, iPad 2 will be mainly supplied by its Shenzhen plants, while the company's upstream component partners have all been notified of the shipments schedule.
This report is still unconfirmed as previous reports suggest that Apple may announce it in the January so their are still fair chances that Apple can launch next iPad in February 2011.
iPad 2 is expected to have many new amazing features which are not in the current one like Front Facing camera for facetime calling ,back camera for taking pictures , retina display and Gyroscope for excellent gaming.
