Viewsonic comes out with two new tablets and Viewsonic calls them Viewpad 7 and Viewpad 10. Although Viewsonic launches them both in the same timeline but each Viewpad brings different taste to the world of tablet PC. Let us tell you why you should get one for yourself!
Viewpad 7 is essentially an ARMdroid device, powered by an ARM 11 processor running at 600MHz with 512MB RAM. But Viewpad 7 comes with no internal storage, where it differs a little from the rest of the tablets available in the market. It comes with Android OS 2.2, a front-facing webcam and weighs around 375g. Viewpad 7 has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen model with a WVGA resolution. Viewpad 10, on the other hand, comes with Windows 7 Home Premium and Android OS. It comes with an Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, GPS, 3G, a 3-megapixel camera, two USB ports, a VGA output and a 10-inch capacitive 1024×600 pixels touchscreen. But Viewpad 10 comes with no support for Flash 10.1 at the moment. The best thing about Viewpad 10 is its ability to run two OSes.
But Viewsonic does not stop just there. Viewsonic offers its customers a trade scheme that will allow them to switch their old notebooks and laptops with Viewsonic Viewpad 7 or Viewpad 10 tablets for a fabulous discount. With this discount Viewpad 7 will bring you a £100 discount, making it a £299 tab, whereas buyers of the Viewpad 10 will get a £125 discount bringing the price up to £385.
